KSM GmbH is a successful independent distributor that specializes in the production and marketing of feature films and television programs in the German-speaking Home Entertainment market, primarily in the field of DVD and Blu-ray rentals and sell-through. The company primarily operates with self-purchased licenses but has also incorporated other products into its portfolio with the help of its own distribution channel. Moreover, KSM produces special interest documentaries and fitness productions of which the company owns all worldwide rights. In 2011 KSM has produced its first 3D documentary "Fascination Coral Reef", which was followed by the next 3D documentary "The Azores" in January 2012. Several further documentaries are in production. In the the same year KSM GmbH has expanded its business to the UK and releases selected titles in that territory on DVD and Blu-ray. To date, the Wiesbaden-located company has around 30 employees and is managed by Benjamin Krause.
