 | Episode 1: Sands of Time
The Zap Squad is a family-friendly, multi-ethnic, character-based, 3D animated cartoon series about a secret club of super kids who protect the world from evil.
After years of searching, The Baron has finally found a magic timepiece hidden deep within an ancient pyramid, buried beneath thousands of years of desert sand. He formulates a plan to travel back in time and, using his full arsenal of magical items, takes over all of Egypt, becomes King, and builds an empire of waterfront condos.
Through a series of strange events, the Zap Squad realizes The Baron's plan and must race to build a time machine capable of tracking and following him into the past. Using teamwork and tons of second-hand junk, the Zap Squad build a time machine in their underground lab and chase The Baron back in time.
In ancient Egypt, The Baron is quickly acquiring unwilling allies through the use of his magical items, in particular, a stolen hypnosis watch. He commands his hypnotized army to stop the Zap Squad.
The Zap Squad battle and ultimately overcome The Baron's forces and manage to send him and Shockwave forward in time to a jail cell. However, they realize that their battle has damaged their time machine but must try to return home. | |
