Synopsis
Spain, 1981. After almost 40 years living under a military dictatorship, the Spanish people thought the battle for democracy had finally been won. Little did they know that there would be one more major obstacle to overcome on the road to a truly democratic State. On the 23rd February, 1981, the Congress of Deputies, with 350 Members of Parliament inside, was stormed by a group of 200 armed soldiers determined to put an end to the young Republic. Terrified of being plunged back into a military dictatorship, the Spanish people can only watch with baited breath as the seventeen hour coup threatens to destroy the young democracy.
