| BUCK tells the story of the original Horse Whisperer, Buck Brannaman. Buck inspired the Nicholas Evans novel (The Horse Whisperer) which Robert Redford, as actor and director, brought to the big screen in 1998.
Directed by first-timer Cindy Meehl and produced by Julie Goldman (Sergio, In The Shadow of the Moon) Buck looks at the extraordinary life of Brannaman who, overcoming a childhood riddled with abuse and neglect, has harnessed an exceptional ability to communicate with troubled horses whilst at the same time having an even more profound influence on their owners. | |
