 | Jerry is a door-to-door salesman and a father whose exuberance for life has been on the decline since his divorce ten years ago. Tired of his life and his job, he accepts an invitation to a 4th of July party. But by mere fate, Jerry receives the wrong address and shows up to a house where he is thrown into a world of young people whose energy remind him of all the lost possibilities of youth. While looking for a new job and in the process of falling for a young woman in the punk group, Jerry’s estranged daughter unexpectedly shows up on his doorstep. The conflict between father and daughter sets up a series of comical and dramatic moments as Jerry struggles to repair his relationship with his daughter, explores new modes of expression, and tries to change his life. | |
