 | A kidnapper calling himself Nixon captures the young daughter of an industrial tycoon. The transfer of the ransom is handled by the two detectives Woodward and Wayne. Shortly after the exchange Nixon calls the police again, telling them that $ 500,000.00 are missing from the complete sum – shortly after, the daughter is found dead in the woods.
The prime suspects are the two cops, especially as Woodward is still struggling with the divorce from his wife. As there is no evidence found, the charges are dropped. But this incident convinces crooked cop Todd Prestridge that Woodward is the perfect partner for a false kidnapping. Prestridge‘s plan seems to have no loopholes, but Woodward decides to play safe and engages the contract killer Derek Fielding to monitor the deal and, if anything should happen to Woodward, to kill everbody involved.
In the beginning everything runs smoothly as scheduled, but soon Woodward has to realize that everybody has their own agenda. And if his partners will not seal his fate, then there is still Nixon, wanting his missing $ 500,000.00 back ... | |
