| Hannah Mills heads west with her father to the ranch of a family friend to photograph wild horses for her school project. She soon meets CJ, a girl from the neighboring ranch. CJ becomes agitated when she is asked to show Hannah - a city girl - where the wild horses roam. The girls quickly learn that the horses are disappearing from the range at an alarming rate.
Through sheer courage and ingenuity, the girls soon uncover a sinister plot to remove the horses from their homeland, and they discover the secret of the Wild Stallion!
