Founded by producer Carmen Bagalà and director Vincenzo Giordano in 2023, the company is based in Locri (Province of Reggio Calabria) and Rome. Its name comes from an imaginary place from childhood, inspired by a mother's stories, where dreams could take shape.
Calamazú develops and produces films that push creative boundaries through bold visions and emotionally engaging storytelling.
