The company was launched in 2015 and is headed by prominent industry figures Alison Thompson and Mark Gooder.
Cornerstone’s current slate includes Harry Lighton’s directorial debut Pillion starring Alexander Skarsgård and Harry Melling which screened in Official Selection, Un Certain Regard at the Cannes Film Festival, writer-director Theo Rhys feature debut Stuffed starring Jodie Comer and Harry Melling, Simon Bird’s Pretend I’m Not Here starring Matthew Broderick, Sally Hawkins and Martin Freeman, Mike Leigh’s upcoming Untitled 2025 film as well as Hard Truths starring Marianne Jean-Baptiste, James Kermack’s Breathe Deep, Aron Gaudet and Gita Pullapilly’s revenge thriller Wild World, Andrea Arnold’s Bird starring Franz Rogowski and Barry Keoghan, Polly Steele’s magical romance Four Letters of Love starring Pierce Brosnan, Helena Bonham Carter and Gabriel Byrne, and Beast of War from Kiah Roach-Turner.
