RUNNING NAKED FILMS is an independent production company founded by filmmaker Emily Sheehan, a Los Angeles and Seattle, based producer, director, and writer dedicated to creating bold, human stories with emotional depth and social resonance.
As of 2025, Running Naked Films has produced three independent narrative features: The Everything Pot (2023 Los Angeles), Any Day Now (2022 Boston), and Before a Wedding (2023 Boston). The Everything Pot premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival, earning recognition for its inclusive storytelling and diverse creative team, and was recently featured on The Popcorn List.
In the commercial space, the company has developed cinematic brand campaigns for clients including LinkedIn, Google, Spotify, Margaritaville, and Pebblebrook Hotel Trust, blending elevated storytelling with strategic brand vision.
Currently, Running Naked Films is developing a slate of original projects, including The Red Bus, an epic based on the true story of a heroic Spaniard during the Ukraine conflict; the modern western drama Freight, set in the mist-drenched Pacific Northwest; the action-horror-thriller Neon Nights; and the coming-of-age comedy series with a supernatural twist The Mess.
Each project continues the company’s mission to champion stories of resilience, courage, and connection, told with cinematic ambition, deep humanity... and as always... a dash of humor.
