Sardinia, 1974. A team of young archaeologists sets up camp near the ruins of a remote nuragic tower, eager to uncover traces of an ancient civilization. Their discovery of a strange fissure in the earth sparks both excitement and unease: the stones seem to breathe, the silence of the valley grows heavy, and an invisible presence lurks beneath their feet.
Meanwhile, a small gang of petty criminals—two local brothers, a hot-headed Roman, and a cynical drifter—plot a quick kidnapping to make easy money. Their target: the isolated group of students. At sunset, the two worlds collide when the bandits storm the camp, taking the archaeologists hostage.
But the ruins are more than a backdrop. Drawn by a mysterious force, both captors and captives feel themselves pulled toward the dark abyss hidden within the tower. As fear and violence escalate, the ancient site begins to reveal its true nature—reminding them that some secrets carved in blood, stone, and sky were never meant to be unearthed.
