Dave is a paid internet troll who lands his biggest job when an unreleased movie leaks and he’s hired to secretly fight the backlash. Candace works in HR at a blood lab with a crazed boss, her low self-esteem matching her low expectations when she meets Dave online. They circle the airport of their relationship, refusing to land. When Candace reveals she has an STD she didn’t disclose, they stumble through honesty, tears, drugs, and laughable attempts at modern intimacy. It all comes crashing down when Dave cheats. Heartbroken, Candace moves on, realizing that before she can be honest with others, she has to be true to herself first.
