Wirral is a headstrong and fanciful teenage squirrel with a call for music he can neither resist nor control. But all music has been banned from his hometown by a bossy diva-owl named Gretsch who literally silences those who dare to upstage her, including Wirral’s mother, Sugartail.
When Wirral accidentally sparks a revolution against Gretsch, he joins a bunch of young rebels who take him to a hidden city high iN the clouds. There, he meets the legendary musicians who are said to be the only ones who could defeat Gretsch.
Along with his new friends, Wirral embarks on an extraordinary journey to finally set music free and give his mother back her voice.
