Ms. Yu, a member of the Chinese mafia, is sent to meet a member of another organization, Mason, at a random restaurant. There, she sells him her organization's predictions for the anticipated time and place of the next winning lottery ticket. However, their waiter overhears their plan and, being a regular Lotto player, wants the ticket for himself. He grabs a Halloween mask and purses Mason. As Mason begins his trek to the grocery store where the winning lottery ticket is, a dance-student who lives with a nearby host family, runs out of provisions while housesitting. She goes to the same grocery-store that night. When the waiter tries to rob Mason for the ticket, he kills him and the dancer accidentally winds up with the ticket during the melee. She returns home to call the police, but the waiter stalks her. A horror-film-style cat-and-mouse game ensues as the waiter becomes more and more like the Skulldevil mask he is wearing....
