THE CONFIDANT is built around a veteran police officer (Javier Gutiérrez) and his young informant (Miguel Herrán), a member of the terrorist group ETA. Divided by their principles but united by loneliness, loyalty and abandonment, they cross dangerous boundaries during a police operation, forcing them to face the consequences of their actions.
