Wedding in Hundsling

The sudden death of her mother forces innkeeper's daughter Magdalena to return to her sleepy hometown of Hundsling in the Upper Palatinate. But what happened? The whole village became divided after the newcomer Peggy opened a second inn in the small town. When Magdalena's father Xaver and Peggy argue in the street about it, the mother dies. Magdalena wants to take over the inn to finally fulfill her dream of having her own tavern. When she tries to reconcile with Peggy, she is met with rejection. Undeterred, Magdalena plans a grand reopening. However, during this celebration, a power outage occurs-supposedly caused by Peggy's son Antonio-ruining the grand reopening. In sheer desperation, Magdalena spies on Peggy's rival inn and sees how well it's doing. Not knowing what else to do, she begins resorting to more daring methods. Naturally, the consequences don't take long to catch up with her. When the situation escalates to the point where someone is injured, Magdalena begins to question whether this path of revenge and hatred is the right one. She decides that she wants to bury the hatchet, but that won't be possible without Peggy and Xaver.
