JOACHIM AND THE APOCALYPSE

Sinopsis

The mist gradually dissolves to reveal a dimensionless place in the distance. We are captured in a metaphysical vortex and thrown into the memories of a man. Joachim is now an elderly man with a weathered face, assisted by a young friar, his disciple Matteo. His memories take us back to his time, a transitional era known as ‘Dark Ages.’ In this timeless dimension, somewhere in between space and time, Hell and the Purgatory which a soul must cross so to atone and purify itself before it can be admitted into Heaven, the Cistercian Monk meets a Knight on a horse. The Knight holds a great sword and seems to be ready to use it. Thus begins a battle which will possibly end only at the conclusion of this journey.
