Chef Marion Ohlinger explores Appalachian heritage, food and music in the new television series Culinary Concerts.
In each themed episode, Chef Marion presents a true farm-to-table experience, visiting the roots of the food before heading back to the kichen to prepare a meal. Special musical guests join Marion in the kitchen, and then on stage to celebrate the Appalachian traditions of fresh food and great music.
About the Host:
Marion Ohlinger's thirty year career as a chef has carried him to over forty countries, five continents, and all fifty states to helm kitchens in such diverse locations as Vail, Scottsdale, Seattle and backcountry Alaska, before returning to his West Virginia roots. Chef Marion was selected for the inaugural edition of The Best Chefs in America in 2013. His restaurant, Hill & Hollow, specializes in creating global cuisine from locally grown food.
