Synopsis

RHEA THE NAKED BIRDIE is an animated children’s series where Doc McStuffins meets Back at the Barnyard, sprinkled with The Secret Life of Pets with the visual style of Miniscule. In it, we’ll follow a fictional version of Rhea as she arrives at the VIP ANIMAL FARM – an animal rescue sanctuary made up of all kinds of creatures great and small from around the world. With the help of Rhea’s human BFF Isabella and a wide assortment of colorful characters, we’ll see Rhea go to great lengths to make sure that every member of the farm learns to embrace what makes them unique and to truly feel comfortable in their own skin...or scales...or fur!

Each 11-minute story of this “combo platter” of animation, with live-action backgrounds, will find Rhea and her "framily" helping one another. A number of episodes will also include guest star animals and humans with their personal hurdles. It could be an elephant missing its beloved tusk, or even a mole that’s completely blind! Rhea and friends will find a creative solution to the issue, turning their challenges into a positive! Maybe they fashion a rhinestone prosthetic tusk for the elephant...or pair the mole with a seeing eyed dog! Every episode will end with an animal – and kids at home – not only embracing what makes them different... but loving that difference! Even through their comedic escapades, this show will have our characters learning new virtues such as “how to treat others as you would like to be treated”, “how to be a real friend”, “inspire through positivity”, “the virtues of honesty” and more. We want a series that will highlight the word “capable” in “handi-capable”, and empower kids and families in the process!
