Synopsis

SHOOT! SHOOT! SHOOT! SHOOT! POW! - 46min

The film tells the tragic story of three hapless men and women at the time of the Gwangju Uprising, who have lived a life as victim and offender, with the unfinished part of Korean history making them point a gun at each other.

ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM - 16min

Sixty-something grandfather Jong-seon goes around apartment towns and back alleys every morning to collect not discarded paper but scrap metal. Using such metal, he tries to make a time machine, but it is not going well as planned. Hyeon-woo, who lives alone, is bothered by the fact that the old man is being harassed by kids, so he helps him a few times. They gradually get to know each other better. The old man’s days of making a time machine continue, and one day Hyeon-woo gives him a determining hint. Why does Jong-seon desperately want to go back to the past?

BREAK AWAY - 21min

Gyung-min is heading to Gwangju International Airport to go on a vacation on Jeju Island with her daughter Seon-ju. Since they had some time to spare, the two women stopped by a town in Gwangju where Gyung -min had a memory there. Seon-ju is clueless as to the reason or purpose Gyung -min came to Gwangju. In this town, they meet a male stranger…
