Synopsis

You're our not in Texas anymore. Welcome to Japan.

Three American late teens go on a vacation to Japan to escape a sad past and have some fun, but end up with a crazy Japanese host family who wants to offer the Americans in an ancient Japanese ritual to secure their family home from disasters.

Directed by the talented and festival favorite, fresh young student writer-director duo: Hirohito Takimoto and Kenta Osaka, TOKYO HOME STAY MASSACRE is crafted as a thrilling horror film full of explosive crazy intense Japanese energy. The film introduces our American heroes, and the audience, to the ancient Japanese tradition of Hitobashira; The Human Pilar, in which the Japanese used to cement/ clay/ bury people alive into the walls, or in the foundation of their houses to please the gods and protect their homes from disaster. Follow three familiar Western leads, thrown into the unknown, and join them on the road to madness.
