In 1964, 12-year old TOM WALSH is forced to travel with his father, ARTHUR WALSH, while his mom goes on vacation with her new boyfriend. Arthur is a comedian whose old, tired ventriloquist routine is starting to drag him down in the ever-changing world of stand up comedy. In
pursuit of getting his own show in Vegas, Arthur must find a way to update his act, while also
reconnecting with his estranged son. On the day of his big show, Arthur must decide which is more important to him, his act or his son.
