Nora and David are the picture of a perfect young power couple — wealthy, deeply in love, and living in a home filled with laughter, luxury, and peace. Their marriage seems complete in every way except for one silent ache that grows heavier with time: Nora’s inability to conceive.
As months turn into years, Nora’s longing for a child becomes an obsession. David remains patient and reassuring, but Nora feels the pressure of family expectations, society’s whispers, and her own fear of failing as a woman. Desperate to fill the void, she secretly arranges for a surrogate, convinced it will finally make their happiness whole.
But the decision that was meant to heal her heart becomes the beginning of chaos.
The surrogate, initially warm and cooperative, slowly begins to overstep boundaries. She becomes emotionally attached to David, inserts herself into their private life, and manipulates situations to gain control. Nora watches her once‑peaceful home turn into a battlefield of suspicion, insecurity, and emotional turmoil.
