Sara, a renowned Spanish choreographer and dancer based in Paris, receives an invitation to stage a show in Madrid to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the world’s most famous flamenco dance school, Amor de Dios, where she learned to dance. Sara fled Madrid decades ago, following the tragic death of her close friend and classmate, Marie, and has refused to return ever since. But the invitation comes from Felipe, the school’s director and her childhood sweetheart, who needs her help to prevent the legendary school from being evicted. Sara, who has mobility issues, agrees to confront her past and dance—for one last time—at Amor de Dios.
