Synopsis

When Dr. Nabil Kader, the architect of a highly classified CIA program known as JANUS, is captured and taken to a remote black site, intelligence operative Jack Mercer is assigned to uncover what he knows. But before Jack can get answers, the facility is breached by a heavily armed covert team led by Cooper Drazen—a former operative Jack believed was dead.

As the black site descends into chaos, Jack discovers that the attack is only one piece of a much larger conspiracy. JANUS, originally created to predict economic and societal collapse, can be turned into a weapon capable of engineering it—destabilizing markets, destroying trust, and altering the course of nations without firing a shot.

With the facility rigged to destroy itself and enemies operating both inside the black site and at CIA headquarters, Jack must protect Kader and analyst Elena Whitmore while confronting a buried operation from his own past. As loyalties fracture and the conspiracy reaches the highest levels of the Agency, the fight for JANUS becomes a race to prevent a weapon of global destabilization from falling into the wrong hands.
