Santiago Balmes, a renowned writer and academic, gathers his three children just before Christmas to ask them for one favor: to spend a few days together at the beach house where they grew up. For the siblings, who have been estranged from their father ever since he left the family years earlier for another woman, the invitation becomes an opportunity to confront old wounds and try to understand who their father really is. For Alberto, the youngest son, the reunion takes on an even deeper meaning as he prepares to become a father for the first time.
