Laquan “Brisk” Bristol is the son of a fabled Portland O.G."Freckle-Face Red" - drugs, prostitutes, violence - who disappeared a generation ago. Now, the young “Player” is under-pressure from ruthless competitors, determined police and an extended all-female, “family”. As Brisk starts to question the ”Life”, rumours surface that his father may be alive. Immediately, a local Russian mobster joins forces with a deadly Russian Mafia captain, and targets Brisk and his family.
