Isaac and his pregnant wife Emma return to a remote Norweigian island, that he fled as a child with his mother, to claim an unexpected inheritance. The quaint town welcomes them, but leaving quickly becomes a struggle when the locals who worship 'The Slumbering One' - an ancient sea dwelling deity - awaken the the evil seeeking to claim a birthright of its own.
