Synopsis

Determined to prove their love is strong enough to overcome anything, a young couple rushes headfirst into marriage. Their pastor urges them to slow down, warning that both families carry long‑standing generational patterns—cycles of broken relationships, secrecy, and unresolved trauma—that should be confronted before they build a life together. Blinded by passion and convinced that love alone will protect them, they ignore his counsel.

Once married, the cracks begin to show. Old wounds resurface in new arguments, inherited fears shape their decisions, and the very patterns they were warned about start repeating themselves in their home. What they thought they had escaped now threatens to tear them apart.

As the weight of unaddressed family history presses in, the couple must decide whether to keep pretending everything is fine or finally face the generational shadows they tried to outrun. Their marriage becomes a test of courage, humility, and the willingness to break cycles that have lasted for decades—before those cycles break them
