"Whispers" follows a lonely teenager who inherits an antique doll, Johnny, from a deceased relative. What begins as an unsettling curiosity becomes a descent into terror: the boy discovers that only he can hear the doll's soft, insistent voice. As the whispers grow more intimate and more malevolent, the doll succeeds in isolating the boy from the adults who could protect him, drawing the boy deeper into obedience. The voice is not the doll's at all — it is a demon, and its whispers are a leash. The film builds from domestic unease to full supernatural horror as the boy, and those who love him, race to sever the connection before the demon claims him entirely.
