Together they hit the road before Max can stop them. She’s going looking for her past and the child she abandoned years earlier. He’s keeping his demons at bay just long enough to hope she can make a difference. When Max comes in search of her and kidnaps Sam, Alison knows that she will never be able to escape her past. She returns to face Max in a bloody climatic conclusion.
