Set in the high pressure, adrenaline-charged world of kiteboarding in Outer Banks paradise, Billy (Kevin Quinn) is a hot-shot extreme sports junkie from a small town who, against all odds, is given a chance to compete in the world’s most prestigious Kiteboarding Championship, the Wind Voyager Triple-S. As Billy prepares for the big competition, he finds himself falling for an edgy street-smart girl. He discovers a lot about life and love along the journey, which ultimately ends up with him performing at such a high level, that he gains a lucrative sponsorship to continue competing.
