筋書き

EHAM Confederacy is an alternate-history science-fiction thriller set in a parallel 2026 where the Confederate States of America won the Civil War and slavery was never abolished.

Marcus Wilson is a gifted young elite operative and apprentice to the legendary EHAM. During a mission, an unexplained event transports Marcus into a parallel America that initially appears remarkably similar to his own. The cities are modern. Technology is advanced. Professional sports and entertainment generate enormous wealth. Black athletes, entertainers, scientists, and professionals can achieve worldwide fame and live lives of extraordinary luxury.

But they are still property.

In this America, slavery has evolved rather than disappeared. Black people are legally classified as “Assets,” owned by individuals and corporations. Technology monitors their movements, behavior, and productivity. Ankle monitors enforce travel restrictions, while a real-time Compliance Score determines everything from housing and food allocation to employment opportunities and freedom of movement. Even Black celebrities and politicians can achieve status without possessing true freedom or power.

Hunted by Confederate authorities, Marcus encounters Dr. Logan and Keisha, members of an underground abolitionist movement determined to destroy the system. As Marcus learns how this alternate America developed, he also forms a powerful bond with Keisha, whose questions about Marcus's world force him to confront an uncomfortable truth: ending legal slavery did not end every struggle facing Black Americans in his own reality.

Using his training, extraordinary abilities, and technology developed by EHAM, Marcus infiltrates the highest levels of Confederate society while becoming increasingly committed to the abolitionists' cause.

What begins as a mission to survive and find a way home becomes something much larger.

Marcus must decide whether he is simply a visitor to this world—or whether he has a responsibility to help change it.

Blending science fiction, action, satire, alternate history, and social commentary, EHAM Confederacy explores freedom, Black identity, institutional power, resistance, and the unsettling ways oppression can evolve while the world around it appears to progress.
