End of the Edo period, near the Shimizu Port in Suruga county.
The gang bosses of the Suruga Koshu area gathered to greet the recovery of their Big boss from a life or death injury but is ambushed by a mysterious family by the name of Mido, who kills enemies by manipulating venomous scopions.
Nagaru Akitsu (Sota Fukushi), the village doctor who cured the Big boss from the injuries was invited to the gathering but was nowhere to be seen. So a “Go-between” Soga (Mamoru Miyano) who earns his pennies with his smooth talks, offers his service to find Nagaru.
After Nagaru and Soga get together and arrive at the party, they find all the gang bosses fighting for their life. Noticing something bizarre about the ambush, they make their way to the “Burai” town in the midst of Fuji plain to dig into Mido family and uncovers more than they bargained for.
Everyone’s fate starts to unravel but no one has yet to realize they will all face a plot that could change the future of the Rising sun.
