Mark Deering’s life spirals out of control as he tries to cope with the murder of his wife, Jennifer. Haunted by a cryptic message, he becomes fixated on finding answers. An unhealthy obsession and a blurred line of reality takes hold, and he alienates himself from everyone that cares about him. In Mark’s upside down world, he struggles to hold on, as a drug-dealing Russian MMA fighter becomes the devil on Mark’s shoulder.
As hope starts to fade, he meets an unorthodox Pastor that helps Mark find his way. Through this unlikely friendship, Mark begins to renew his faith once again. But as Mark begins to heal, he comes face-to-face with an unthinkable crime. Once again, Mark’s world comes crashing down around him. The Detective assigned to Jennifer’s case will have to make the most important decision of her career, and Mark’s fate will hang in the balance.
