After the tragic loss of his young son and his own failed suicide attempt, grieving father, Nicholas, is sent to recover and be monitored by a psychiatrist in his childhood home. However as he attempts to rebuild his life, strange occurrences plague him: an eerie presence lurks in the shadows, and his son’s memory refuses to rest. Nicholas begins to unravel a terrifying connection between his past, his grandmother’s death, and a supernatural entity known as a Fetch, a spectral doppelgänger of Irish lore that heralds death. As his grip on reality quickly deteriorates, Nicholas must confront his past mistakes and the sinister force haunting him, before it consumes him completely.
