This film consists of four amazing Survivor stories about life outside the concentration camps in four different cities during the Holocaust. (Berlin, Germany, Vienna, Austria, Lodz, Poland, Lvov, Poland.) Generally, it was more dangerous to live amongst the general population, than to live in a concentration camp. These stories, told in a cinematic way, enable us, and future generations, to personally connect with Survivors even when the Survivors leave this earth. As the world looks at prejudice and racism in a new way, this film is critical and relevant. It will forever change the way you look at the Holocaust.
The 2022 Julien Dubuque International Film Festival has award this film "BEST DOCUMENTARY".
