She needed a fiancé to impress her family, so she hired a man. But fate had other plans. At the busy café where she was supposed to meet the man she hired, another stranger happened to be sitting in the exact spot, waiting for someone else. In her rush — and panic — she mistook him for the actor she hired and whisked him away before he could protest.
Thrown into a world he didn’t sign up for, the wrong man decides to play along, partly out of curiosity, partly because her desperation is oddly endearing. What begins as an accidental charade quickly spirals into family dinners, staged affection, and unexpected moments of real connection.
By the time the truth comes out — that he was never the man she hired — it’s already too late. The lie brought them together, but the love that grew between them is real.
