After hearing from his agent that studios will only consider scripts based on true story, ambitious screenwriter recruits a group of eccentric characters to go and find a missing teenage girl. His only intention is to turn this search into material for his true story screenplay. Whether or not they will find the girl doesn't really matter that much.
