As Christmas approaches, a seemingly ordinary community is terrorized by Nicolas Kruse, a disturbed killer who dresses as Santa Claus and believes he has been chosen to punish those who have violated the moral laws of the Bible. Obsessed with the legend of Krampus, the Seven Deadly Sins, and the idea that every sinner must face judgment, Kruse secretly watches his victims, studying their lies, betrayals, greed, infidelity, cruelty, and other hidden sins before designing elaborate punishments that reflect what he believes they have done wrong.
