SIN EATERS is a supernatural drama about Jenna (25), who is haunted by witnessing her father murder her mother. Adrift and emotionally disconnected, she finds unexpected purpose when she meets Michael Sinclair (60s), a gentle funeral director who secretly serves as a Sin Eater, absorbing the confessed sins of the dying at the cost of his own soul. Drawn into haunting, supernatural rituals where humanity's darkest secrets are revealed, Jenna discovers belonging, hope, and the first person who truly seems to understand her.

But another Sin Eater, Brigid, sees Michael's calling differently. Believing the tradition protects the guilty while abandoning their victims, she has dedicated herself to exposing its hidden cost and delivering justice where absolution has erased accountability. Determined to keep Jenna from repeating Michael's fate, Brigid reveals disturbing truths about the Sin Eaters' legacy and the devastating consequences of carrying other people's darkness.

When Michael, dying beneath the weight of the countless sins he has consumed, reveals he never intended Jenna to succeed him – but to absolve him – she discovers she has been chosen not as an apprentice but as his final sacrifice. Forced to confront an inheritance of unimaginable evil, Jenna must decide whether to reject the centuries-old tradition or embrace the burden herself.

As Michael is dying, Brigid fights with Jenna over Michael’s soul. In the end, Jenna absorbs his sins as an act of mercy. She steps into Michael's place as a Sin Eater, becoming the silent guardian of humanity's darkest secrets while carrying the weight of his sins.
