Barry Company

Barry Company is an independent production company with significant achievements in film and television. It has produced films and series recognized for their artistic quality and large audiences, winning national and international awards. Among its productions is the feature film “Eduardo e Mônica”, the second highest-grossing film at the Brazilian box office in 2022, the most-watched film on the Globoplay platform, and selected and awarded at national and international festivals. Another notable production is “Faroeste Caboclo”, also directed by René Sampaio, which attracted over 1.5 million viewers to theaters and also received awards at national and international festivals. Another major project is the crime drama series “Impuros”, the most-watched non-English- language series on the STAR+ platform in Latin America, which earned two Emmy nominations and has just completed filming its sixth season in partnership with Disney. Barry Company also launched the romantic comedy series "Benefits with Friends" with Disney/Star+, starring Bruna Marquezine and Sérgio Malheiros, which became the biggest debut of a Brazilian series on the platform. Additionally, in collaboration with Biônica Filmes, it is releasing the film “O Filho de Mil Homens”, an adaptation by Daniel Rezende of the novel by Valter Hugo Mãe.
