When Alma returns home to help her family get their Native American heritage recognized, all she finds is the World-Famous Clown Motel that has been erected on their land. Reminiscent of The Shining, there is something violent and supernatural going on in the run-down motel, where the only way for guests to check out is in a body bag. With all the creepiness of IT, the possessed clowns aren't the only things she needs to fear.
