Set against the American frontier, THE STALEMATE follows a robber (Manny Jacinto) and sheriff (Ben Foster) who exhaust their ammunition during a pursuit in the Old West. Stranded far from civilization, the adversaries are forced to negotiate their way out of a seemingly endless chase, turning bitter enemies into an unlikely partnership. Blending irreverent comedy with the iconography of the classic Western, THE STALEMATE puts a fresh spin on the genre through the volatile chemistry between its mismatched leads and an unconventional friendship forged on the frontier.
