A group of college friends - James, Olivia, Will, and Sophia - venture into a remote forest to search for James' missing sister Gabby, who disappeared after a fight with her ex-boyfriend Aiden. They find an isolated cabin but become trapped in a supernatural loop where all paths lead back to it. They encounter Henry, a teacher who has been stuck there for years, who reveals the land is cursed and requires blood sacrifices to mysterious shadow creatures that hunt at night. After losing Sophia and Aiden to the shadows, the group discovers Gabby hiding in an underground tunnel. With Will's sacrifice allowing them to obtain a flashlight, James, Olivia, and Gabby manage to escape using the SUV's headlights to break the supernatural barrier. However, the final scene reveals the shadows have escaped the cursed land as well.
