Anatomica Films is an independent film company founded and operated by filmmaker J. M. Stelly. The company specializes in producing low-budget, high-quality films, particularly in the thriller and horror genres. All of Anatomica Films' projects are shot in Louisiana, leveraging the region’s unique atmosphere and landscapes to enhance its storytelling.

J. M. Stelly is an American filmmaker known for his work in horror, thriller, and arthouse cinema. As the founder of Anatomica Films, he has built a reputation for crafting deeply atmospheric films that explore psychological horror, existential dread, and surreal storytelling. His films blend haunting cinematography, immersive sound design, and nonlinear narratives to create uniquely unsettling cinematic experiences. Stelly’s filmography includes critically acclaimed works such as Call of the Void (2024), an award-winning psychological horror film steeped in Lovecraftian terror, and Abacus (2024), a mind-bending thriller exploring paranoia and identity. His previous films, including They Are Watching (2023), The Demonologist (2019), showcase his signature approach—favoring tension and atmosphere over conventional jump scares.

Stelly currently finished production on his new film Within Madness and is in the process of pre-production and planning phases of several new films between the years of 2025 and 2026.
