Poverty is not just a lack of money — it is a mindset, a bondage, a spiritual condition that limits what God wants to do in a person’s life. Financial lack is only one symptom. The deeper poverty is the poverty of vision, the poverty of purpose, the poverty of faith, and the poverty of expectation.

Some people have money but still live poor because fear controls them. Some have resources but still think small because their mindset is chained. Some have opportunities but cannot step into them because insecurity whispers louder than God’s promises.

The spirit of poverty convinces you that you are not enough, you will never have enough, and God cannot do enough. But Christ came to break that lie. He came to lift your thinking, enlarge your capacity, and restore your identity. When your mind is renewed, your life begins to expand.

Breaking the spirit of poverty means refusing to settle for less than what God said. It means seeing yourself as God sees you — blessed, capable, chosen, and equipped. It means walking in generosity, gratitude, excellence, and faith. It means believing that God is your source, not your job, not your background, not your circumstances.

True prosperity begins inside. When God breaks the poverty in your spirit, He can break the poverty in your life.
