When Ada became a single mother, she believed she could lean on her own mother for support—at least until she found her footing. But after a bitter argument, her mother cuts her off completely, leaving Ada and her young son with no financial help, no home to return to, and no one to rely on.
Bills pile up. Her son’s needs grow. Job applications go unanswered. Every door she knocks on seems to close in her face. As desperation tightens around her, Ada faces a choice she never imagined she would consider.
In a moment of fear and exhaustion, she steps into a world she once judged harshly—prostitution. At first, she tells herself it’s temporary, just until she can save enough to start over. The money comes quickly, but so does the emotional toll. Shame, secrecy, and danger become her constant companions.
