Alice, a struggling playwright and actor, battles the obstacles of theatre production and faces closure unless she can secure further funds. Her boyfriend, Jimmy, agrees to participate in the robbery of a local drug dealer to help finance Alice’s play. However, it’s not long before local gangster, Big C, discovers Jimmy and his deadbeat friends are responsible for stealing his narcotics and agrees to let them live on the condition that he will direct Alice’s play. Having no choice, Alice reluctantly agrees, which kicks off a series of murders and chaos, leading up to the opening night of the play. Due to Alice’s determination and conviction as an artist, she successfully performs her show and agrees to marry Jimmy. Over dinner, Jimmy decides the couple need a vacation but Alice has life changing news that will determine otherwise...
