Francis Keller, a twenty-something outcast burdened by grief and ridicule, stumbles into a voodoo bar and meets Melvina, a mysterious woman who offers him a bag of enchanted powder. She warns him: use it sparingly, for it can control souls—but if neglected, its victims will turn into ravenous zombies. Drunk and desperate for revenge, Francis tests the powder on a stranger, then escalates, spreading it through his small community.

But when his first victim goes rogue, devouring human brains, Francis realizes he’s unleashed a nightmare he can’t control. As the infection spreads, townsfolk vanish, bodies pile up, and rumors of zombies ripple across the county. With the sheriff and deputies skeptical, Francis must decide whether to confess and help stop the outbreak—or sink further into darkness as the creator of an unstoppable horror.
